Started out at the County Club in
Gosforth in the late 60s - then, after a 30 year break, started playing
again.
I like a broad spectrum of styles -
favourite artists are Tom Paxton, Tim Hardin and John Prine.
Performing is like a drug - once you have
done it you just have to have more!
Club Quotes
His voice goes nicely with his unusual guitar style. Very nice to listen
to, always picks lovely songs...
Not as young as he looks (he remembers The County). Good laid back
style. Runs a good night...
Easy going troubadour with a penchant for Paxton...
Alnwick's own Mr Tom Paxton...
Geoff is the club's number one Paxton fan, delivering his songs in a
quiet and pleasant way. Fancy guitar picking which he obviously learned
in the days of the folk revival...
Nice to see you, new and fresh songs from the past - most welcome...
Geoff, alias Tom Paxton - do you know 'The Chicken Song'?...
Great voice, great playing - Tom Paxton and much more. Relaxing to
listen to, and good company too... |
