At the club since April 1983

Allan hails from Fort William in the Highlands and sings
mostly traditional songs accompanied by the 'Highland Banjo' <joke>. He enjoys
singing harmony with guests visiting the club.
Brought up on folk music his early influences were Pete Seeger and Ian
Campbell.
He was a member of The Fergie McDonald Band, a well known band in the
Highlands and Islands for 10 years. He is currently a member of the Ceilidh band
Kelda.
