Guest: Pete Scott

Support: John & Dave
Support: Ken Cross

The night got off to a fine start with John & Dave singing 'Look Into Space', 'Solo', and Anthony John Clarke's 'An Acquaintance of Mine'.

Next up was Ken Cross with 'Whiskey On A Sunday', and then Dylan’s 'Don’t Think Twice'. He finished his spot with 'Carrickfergus'.

Guest, Pete Scott, entertained with quite a few new songs including 'You Get Conned Into', and three humorous songs 'Fantastic Pasty', 'Midsummer Murders', and 'Uri Gagarin’s Banjo'. He ended his first set with the ever-popular 'One Man Band'.

John & Dave started the action second time with 'Dumbarton’s Drum', and Johnny Cash’s 'I Walk The Line'. Ken did 'The Leaving Of Liverpool' and 'Rare Old Times'.

Pete's second set started with 'You're Only Lonely' - this was followed by Joe Wilson’s 'Hannah’s Black Eye'. Pete suffered the usual good-natured heckling from certain members of the audience. He got through a great number of songs - far too many to list - but they included 'Check Out Lonely', 'Moving Day', and 'Talking To A Stranger'.

The night was recorded and videoed for Pete by two friends.

Another great night at Cramlington Folk Club.
