Jim got the night off to a good start in his own unique way with a couple of songs - one a Scottish song and one of his own. Sue was next up with two fine songs including 'Only Fools Rush In'. It was Mike next with a song by Vin Garbutt and a local song 'Rapper To Bank'. It was now time to welcome our first visitor to the club, Alison from Buckinghamshire, and she gave two fine traditional songs. Then two songs from Geoff including Eric Bogle's 'Greenfield's Of France'. Jimmy and Carol with Peter Cook in tow closed the first half of the night - their two included 'Old Friends'.

The second part of the night got off to a good start with Lester, our second visitor, also from Buckinghamshire. Lester played a set of tunes on the melodeon. The two from Gerry included 'Cornflower Blue'. Gerry was followed by Dave Anderson who sang Mike Silver's 'Matter Of Pride'. Then we had Allan with a couple from his native land, and he was followed by Ken who was joined by Jimmy and Carol and Allan (again). There was time left for one more from each of our visitors - a music hall song from Alison and a set of well known tunes from Lester.

A good night, full of good songs and music and enjoyed by all.
